Beaded Bookmark, The flower feeds the soul

The world is like a flower, just waiting to bloom

A beaded bookmark in shades of brown.

Camellia

A fire red lampwork flower focal with a little copper glitter with silver and deep red metallic seed beads and chinese crystal makes a pretty picture.

Jasper

Material used : oval picasso  and mookaite jasper stones, brass beads and toggle clasp.

Jaspers were worn as amulets by the ancients Egyptians as it was believed to increase sexual energy.  It is also believed to be a powerful healing stone.
Picasso Jasper is a "live a little....." stone while Mookaite jasper helps with emotional growth and decision making.

I have always like the unusual colourful banded patterns found on jaspers.

Turquoise Set

Turquoise has always been considered as a stone of life, beauty  and good fortune.
It is the birthday stone for the month of December.
A stone that is believed to encourage communication, enthusiasm and artistic abilities.

The blue really contrasts beautifully with the black, doesnt it?

Burgundy Gold

I love the dark gold of the seed beads, really reminded me of old gold.  It really makes the swarovski burgundy crystal pearls look amazing.

Midnight Bloom

My favourite colours.  Black, grey and silver.
I wanted another classic-looking necklace to match the LBD.  I like that it had a lacy-like filigree look.  Makes it look so "feminine".....
All material used were swarovski except for the seed beads and silver metal beads.

Myztry

I used doughnut shape jet hematite chinese crystal, gunmetal heishi beads with a 27mm filigree locket pendantand finished with a round designed toggle clasp.

Blue Beaded Flower Earrings, Forget-me-not

These are handmade lampwork glass beads my sister bought for me in Australia.  I know the sizes of the beads are irregular.  But the colour - it is so vibrant, so pretty.
